The Raiders indicated they're determined to draft a QB, even if it's a contentious choice.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are hosting Kentucky's Will Levis for a top-30 visit at their facility.

The 6-foot-4, 229-pound QB is one of the most polarizing prospects in the class due to the canyon between his ceiling and floor.

"He has everything you look for in a franchise QB. Just understand some rough edges need smoothing out," wrote the Draft Network's Damian Parson. "Levis could become the next Josh Allen or Justin Herbert. On the flip side, he could become Carson Wentz or Jake Locker."
Also, Levis' numbers weren't spectacular. He threw 48 TDs and 23 interceptions in two seasons as the Wildcats' starter. In 2022, he posted a 60.9 QBR, 59th in the FBS.
Conversely, fellow SEC QB and potential first-rounder Bryce Young threw 79 TDs and 12 picks in two seasons as Alabama's starter. In 2022, he registered an 86.2 QBR, sixth in the FBS.
However, Levis ran a pro-style offense, meaning his concepts were more difficult since they're comparable to the NFL. Additionally, Kentucky isn't a football powerhouse. They've only won 10 or more games twice over the past decade.
So Las Vegas might overlook his stat line because he already has some NFL-level knowledge, can learn under starter Jimmy Garoppolo and could excel with an elite WR like Davante Adams.
Plus, he provides a fallback if they can't land Florida's Anthony Richardson. Although the Raiders are reportedly impressed with Richardson, the Titans are considering moving up to the No. 3 slot and targeting a QB, per NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah.
According to Tankathon, Young and Ohio State's C.J. Stroud will be the first two QBs off the board, so Tennessee could target Richardson if they move up.
Therefore, don't be surprised if Levis joins the silver and black. Per Tankathon, Las Vegas will use the No. 7 overall pick on him.
