As a rookie in New York in 2018, Luvu recorded 22 tackles and career-highs in quarterback hits (11) and sacks (3.0) across 14 games. In 2019, he had just 12 tackles and 1.0 sack in 13 games before jumping back up to 25 tackles and 2.0 sacks in 13 contests during the 2020 campaign.
Luvu had arguably his best season in 2021 with the Panthers, recording career-highs in tackles (43), tackles for a loss (eight) and fumble recoveries (three). It was also a historic campaign for the native of Tafuna, American Samoa.
