Harry Kane ‘s trophyless ‘curse’ has somehow managed to carry on from his time at Tottenham Hotspur. The Bayern Munich No.9 saw his side spectacularly lose out on the Bundesliga as well as the DFB-Pokal to rivals Bayer Leverkusen, with the Champions League their only hope of securing silverware. After an impressive display against Real Madrid, Kane has asserted his desire to continue at the club.

The 30-year-old was brought in from Spurs for a mammoth fee of £100 million in a deal that keeps him at the club till 2027. Despite Thomas Tuchel admitting that Kane is unhappy at the club earlier in the season, he has now assured fans of his desire to remain at the club. Kane expressed his excitement to take on Real Madrid in the second leg.

I'm here at Bayern for many years. I came here to play in these big games, big moments and there's no bigger than next week away from home.
Harry Kane said in an interview

The Bayern striker scored a penalty in the first leg and will be hoping to do more of the same in the return leg. He is also the League & UCL top scorer, with 35 and 8 goals scored in the respective competitions.

How good is he? A quick look at records Harry Kane has broken at Bayern

Harry Kane ‘s £100 million transfer to the German giants has been an instant hit. It has been goals galore up front for the Bavarians ever since the Spurs and England goal-getter joined their ranks. His most recent record came against Real Madrid, when his expertly placed penalty made him the Englishman with the most direct goal involvements in a UCL campaign.

He surpassed the likes of Steven Gerrard and David Beckham by doing so. On top of that, he also got off to the ‘best’ start in the League for a Bayern player, netting 7 times in his first five games.

By the time he hit 10 games for the club, Kane had already bagged 15 goals. Despite tough competition from an in-form Serhou Guirassy, Kane also became the fastest player to 20 goals.

The 15 games in which he did so was 6 games quicker than Uwe Seeler , the owner of the record prior to Kane. As he now sits on 35 League goals, it is comfortable to say that Kane has had the best ever debut season for a player. His 43 goals and 11 assists in all competitions is unrivalled across Europe.
